Wild

Wild - inspired by my recent Orkney adventure.

I've always been drawn to the wild, to the untamed beauty of nature.

My recent trip to the Orkney Islands in Scotland ignited a spark within me, a desire to capture the essence of the untamed spirit I encountered during my visit.

And so, I embarked on a creative journey to bring to life an image that reflected that raw energy.

The fox, a creature often associated with cunning and adaptability, became my muse. Its wild spirit seemed to embody the very essence of the Orkney landscape.

I wanted to create an artwork that was as bold and untamed as the islands themselves.

In this video https://www.instagram.com/reel/C94IVxRo0oL/?igsh=MTNleTVxbG40cjBjZQ== I take you through my creative process, from initial concept to the final piece. I share my techniques, my inspirations, and the story behind the artwork.

I hope you enjoy the journey as much as I did.

I have recently used this image to create some tote bags you can see what the bags look like here, these are available to purchase from Comrie Croft Farm Shop and Strathearn Arts Shop.
